| From Aiden Day 1 (pre surgery) |
Although I have a lot of stuff going in and out of me, don't I look good? :)
I'm gonna be just fine whenever the good doctors fix my heart tomorrow morning at 7:30ish. 3 hours later, my heart will be like new and 7-10 days later, I'll finally be home with my mom and dad and Denver! I hope he's not eating too many of my toys before I get there. Bad doggy!
My daddy was so nice to stay with me all night, talk to me and sing me some songs. I really enjoyed his company before my mom came in today around 2pm. I could smell her scent from an ICU away! Can't wait to have some milk too both after they fix me up and my mommy can figure out that funny machine. :)
I'm so thankful for all of the nice people at Children's who have taking care of me so far. I'm also thankful that all of my mommy and daddy's friends and family are being so nice to them while they wait patiently.

UPDATE!
Look, I actually do have eyes and can breathe on my own! Well, until they fix my heart of course but I'm so happy now I can sow, scream and cry for my mom!

Wow - he's soooo handsome! And looks so much like you, Jeff :) And what a big boy! Looks like he's already been hitting those protein shakes :) Can't wait to hear about his big day tomorrow. Good luck, Aiden!
ReplyDeleteHe is so adorable. Perfect, absolutley perfect. And very impressive he can talk and type at such a young age, but then again, he is your son Jeff! Kimberly looked so good this am, could'nt believe she gave birth less than 24hrs prior. She is such a strong women! Love all of you.

ReplyDeleteAiden's mommy was anxious to get to the hospital today! The morning was busy with visitors, friends at AGH, doctors, residents, nurses, paperwork, and packing. She did it all and looked great in the process! I am so proud of her. Aiden's pictures are just so adorable! I can't wait to hold him in my arms.

YOu are an amazing women, your strength is beyond measure. Aiden is BLESSED to have you for his mom. Jeff, the way you stood by Kimberly last night, a pillar of strength with an overwhelming calmness that surrounded your every move and word.... simply amazing. WIth parents like you Aiden is certain to shine through surgery and everyday after!!!!!!! I love you guys and my prayers are never ending.

Hi Aiden, Kimberly, & Jeff, Congratulations! He's beautiful! He looks a lot like you Jeff! I remember the night you were born Jeff. I was there waiting, and waiting, and waiting with your dad. And of course, not long after I left you were born. Aiden looks very healthy, so I'm sure he is going to get through this surgery just fine. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
