Our big day is approaching and we thought this was the best way to keep you informed of Aiden's progress. We are 39 weeks pregnant and unless Aiden arrives on his own, Kimberly will be induced on Sunday, 11/9. Aiden will be taken to Children's Hospital within a few hours of his birth at Allegheny General Hospital.
We expect that Aiden will have surgery within the first few days after birth. For more information on transposition of the greater arteries, click here. The surgeons tell us that Aiden will probably be in the hospital for 7-10 days after surgery so we hope to be home by Thanksgiving.
We'll provide more updates as we go.
